Multicultural cross pollination is inherent in Karen’s designs having been trained in Italy where designs are bold and colourful; on to Japan where the influence of  subtlety & zen-ness comes together.  

Karen’s design talent is much sought after having received numerous awards from DTC (Debeers Diamond) to Tahiti Pearl. Karen quickly established herself as a young talent to watch for achieving Hong Kong’s  “40 under 40” ; HK Young Design Talent (2006).

Her multi-disciplinary artistic talents & focus on excellence is evident with multiple certifications ~ as a gemologist,  colour chartist, Japanese Ikebana master-teacher, calligraphy / painting and more.

As a highly sought after artist-designer, Karen gets commissioned regularly by corporates looking for a artistic approach to design and international set of private clientele including celebrities.  Some notable projects include : Menard, Forevermark (DeBeers), IPSA (Japan), Canon (Japan), MIOGGI Beauty (Korea), SEIBU (Hong Kong), S.H.K (Sun Hung Kai Properties Hong Kong) and Radio Television Hong Kong.
